Update Notes April 25 2024

Over the last few weeks, we have mainly been working on the new project views. In the future, it will be possible to manage several audits (manual and automated) together in one project. One of CAAT's principles is to offer a tool that is as flexible as possible for different workflows and situations. With the project views, CAAT will be able to be used for even more diverse tasks.

CAAT has always prioritized the accessible HTML view. In addition, CAAT offers the export as accessible PDF and EPUB and as CSV export for various ticket systems. To print out the report, we previously offered an optimized print version from the HTML report, but the accessible PDF reports can now be downloaded directly from the HTML view of the report.
This means that readers can download the accessible PDF themselves and auditors no longer have to send anything by email. Saving time for everyone.

Over the next few months, all other download formats will gradually be made available in the HTML view: EPUB, jira export, etc.

For those who need a small version of the PDF report to send it by e-mail, CAAT now offers the option (initially only in the backend) to choose between file size and image quality: export images in reduced, normal or original size.

We have fixed another small accessibility issue. This time it was more of a formal error, a list was not structured correctly. Not a big deal, but you can see that even professionals make mistakes. After all, accessibility is known as a continuous process.
