Update Notes October 29 2025
29. October 2025
In this sprint, we mainly fixed a number of minor bugs. However, there were also two noteworthy major changes.
Automatic search for the sitemap XML
Let's be honest: very few people know the exact URL of their sitemap XML. To save you the hassle of guessing it yourself, we have added a handy feature to CAAT.
CAAT automatically searches the website for an XML sitemap.
It analyses the robots.txt file and checks the most common file names and storage locations. If multiple sitemaps are found, CAAT displays a list of all files found.
This saves you time and allows you to start testing right away.
Animated waiting screen
It's almost a shame that this screen is only visible for a short time – because it brings the scanning process to life.
While CAAT analyses your website, a short animation shows the progress. A brief moment to take a deep breath – before the first results appear.
